12 Rainy Day Things to Do at Lake of the Ozarks

A little rain doesn’t have to wash out your Lake day. From caves and escape rooms to indoor water parks, arcades, movies and creative activities, there are plenty of ways to keep everyone entertained while you wait for the clouds to clear.

1. Bridal Cave

Head underground and trade the rain for one of Lake of the Ozarks’ most famous attractions. Bridal Cave offers guided tours through beautiful formations and stays around 60 degrees year-round, making it a great option in almost any weather.

2. Stark Caverns

Explore another side of the Ozarks underground at Stark Caverns near Eldon. Daily cave tours feature geological formations, Native American history and ancient bear beds, while special black-light tours and an in-cave escape room add even more adventure.

3. Miner Mike’s & Buster’s

When the kids need to burn off some energy, Miner Mike’s is an easy rainy-day choice. The huge indoor family fun center features rides, games, a play maze and Buster’s high-tech arcade with simulators and plenty of competition for older kids and adults too.

4. Lake Escape

Put your group’s teamwork to the test at Lake Escape in Osage Beach. Choose from immersive escape rooms, digital axe throwing or The Escape Bay multi-sport simulator with golf and other interactive games.

5. Jolly Mon Indoor Water Park at Margaritaville

Rain outside? Go swimming inside. Jolly Mon Indoor Water Park at Margaritaville features water slides, a lazy river, activity pool, three-story play structure and a giant tipping bucket. Non-resort guests can purchase admission when available.

6. Fin City Entertainment Center at Margaritaville

Keep the competition going with bowling, arcade games, billiards, darts and air hockey at Fin City. It’s an easy choice for families, groups or anyone who wants to spend a few dry hours playing indoors.

7. Jetz Trampoline Park

Jump, climb and play your way through a gloomy afternoon at Jetz Trampoline Park in Osage Beach. In addition to trampolines, the indoor park offers dodgeball, ninja-style challenges and arcade games.

8. Main Street Music Hall

Turn a rainy evening into a night at the theater. Main Street Music Hall hosts live music, tribute shows, comedy and special performances throughout the year, so check the event calendar to see what’s on stage during your visit.

9. Marcus Eagles’ Landing Cinema

Sometimes a rainy day calls for popcorn and a movie. Marcus Eagles’ Landing Cinema in Lake Ozark shows current releases and makes an easy indoor option for couples, families or groups looking for a relaxing afternoon.

10. Camden County Museum

Slow things down and learn a little about the area at the Camden County Museum in Linn Creek. It’s a relaxed indoor stop for visitors interested in local history and a nice change of pace from the Lake’s high-energy attractions.

11. Ozarkland

A rainy day is a great excuse for a souvenir hunt. Ozarkland in Camdenton is packed with fudge, candy, Ozarks gifts, toys, apparel, home décor and plenty of unique finds to take home from your trip.

12. Willmore Lodge & Bagnell Dam History Museum

Step inside one of Lake of the Ozarks’ most historic buildings and learn how the Lake came to be. Willmore Lodge houses the free Bagnell Dam History Museum, where exhibits tell the story of Bagnell Dam and the development of the Lake area. After exploring indoors, check out the lakeside gardens and scenic views if the rain lets up.
